Meet one of my sweet families and their new addition, baby Luca! Luca is the family’s 4th baby and first boy. How adorable is this family? They made my job a little too easy.
Mama is a friend of mine. She had a stillborn baby girl in February 2019 and they named her Avielle. We met in a loss group that I created.
Natural Lifestyle Newborn Session
Mom wanted a laid back, lifestyle session. She wanted her session to focus on their family and connection, so we did just that.
Mama and I worked together to style the session. Mom and the girls wore dresses that were from my growing client closet. My clients love the client closet, because it makes it so much easier to find pieces for the family that are cohesive and photograph well without spending days going to multiple stores to find the perfect pieces.
Port Washington, Wisconsin Newborn Photography
The family’s session was held at sunset in Port Washington South Beach Park in Washington, Wisconsin. Their younger daughter, Mackenzie absolutely loved playing in the sand. Their older daughter, Ellie wanted to just play with Luca’s toes. They both love their little brother so much!
You may notice there’s a teddy bear in their photos cuddling with Mackenzie. This was actually Avielle’s bear. We incorporated the bear at the end, because Mackenzie would not let her go! I love that we were able to incorporate Avielle in their family pictures, because she is an important part of their family. Mama said Mackenzie would probably sleep with the teddy bear, because she would not let it go!
