I love documenting your baby’s newborn days, but I also want to help you remember what happens next. From your baby’s first smile and crawl (3-4 months) to independent sitting (5-7 months) and their first birthday, I want to be your Milwaukee milestone photographer, offering sessions that preserve the life stages that matter to you and your child as they grow.

Truthfully, you can book a milestone photoshoot as often as you like - your little one grows. In just the first year, after newborn photos, I recommend booking quarterly milestone photos so we can document when your baby starts smiling and pushing up onto their elbows (3-4 months), when they start sitting up independently (5-7 months), when they start pulling to stand (9 months) and of course: their first birthday. My client closet includes a variety of outfits up to 12 months to help your little one shine in whatever stage they’re in!

I know they all do mama, but all I mean here is that you can book them as often as you like. When you look back at these photos as the years go by, you will realize how different each and every one of these stages were.
And if you are like me, you are going to want to remember it all.

In a milestone session, your little is the star of the show, while your entire family is photographed during a family session.
At your child’s milestone session, we’ll get them dressed up in sweet outfits (all Tara Fay clients have access to my client closet, which includes outfits for littles up to 12 months!), and we can either use some of the props and backdrops at my Cedarburg photography studio, or we can meet outdoors.
If we are meeting at my studio, I plan sessions to start at either 10am or 2pm to ensure ample setup and clean up time.
If we are meeting outside, I like to meet an hour or two before sunset, so your milestone photos have that gorgeous natural glow.
I love planning cake smashes while you're little one is about 11 months old, not only will you have your photos back for your little ones birthday, but they'll be less mobile, which will make for an easier time!
You'll receive your gallery within 3 weeks of our photo session. You'll get to choose if you'd like to stick with your current collection- or upgrade to more digitals and print credit. There's a lovely store with heirloom products to choose from to display your images to enjoy them in your home
