What Is A Client Closet And How Do I Use It?

I get a ton of questions on my client closet and how to make the most of it. A Client Closet is a collection of outfits/dresses and/or accessories for you to use for your session! Styling and access to the client closet are both complimentary with your session fee, and I urge you to use them! A lot of items that photograph well, aren’t the typical items you’d purchase for your wardrobe, so this is the perfect opportunity to look both great in your images AND save money! As this is my first year building and offering my closet, some sizing is more limited but, if I don’t have your size or nothing you absolutely LOVE, we can work together to choose something to add to my closet!

Newborn Closet

While I don’t have my newborn outfits photographed in a gallery for you to peek at, I assure you I have the cutest outfits for your newborn session! Some families choose to forego naked images and instead prefer their newborn in an outfit. I have a few different styles from full footie pajamas to cute little pants depending on the look we’re going for. If you indicate in your questionnaire that you prefer an outfit in your session, I’ll have a few pulled that coordinate with your colors the day of our session. I tell families to stay away from those crocheted/knit outfits (they NEVER fit right!) and tutus (SO scratchy!!) but if you’d like to bring something, reach out to me and I can send you a few of my favorite vendors!

Milestone Closet

I have some super cute options for your milestone session, and after booking I’ll send you a link and you can choose a few options for me to have ready. These vary in size, but my sitter options typically fit 6-12 month olds, and I have a few for littler/younger babies too. If you’d like to see what I have before booking, send me an email from my contact me page and I’ll get it to you! You can also totally let me choose for you, and I’ll pull out items I think would fit in perfectly with our session! You’re also welcome to bring your own, or do a combination of the two! Maternity Closet

Why buy a dress for your maternity session that you’ll only wear once?! I’m currently building my Maternity closet, and would LOVE to choose a dress with you! I have a few options for dresses, bodysuits, and fabrics to drape, but would love to continue to add to this. When you’re ready to book your studio maternity session, contact me and I’ll send over my wish list for dresses. We’ll choose one together, and I’ll utilize your deposit to cover the purchase of this dress. When you show up to your session your dress will be all ready for you to use, and you can also use a few items I already own! Family & Outdoor Maternity Closet

The LAST thing you want to do after booking your family session is choose what everyone should wear, and that’s why I’m here! I have a variety of sizes and styles for Moms to wear and will help build your family’s outfits based on what you choose for yourself! I can put together specific outfits from your favorite stores or send you over some coordinating colors to help plan the rest of the family. I do have a select few girls dresses and if your little one is under a year and I feel like something from my Milestone Closet would work well, I’ll totally let you use that too! Send me over your typical size (or which sizes work best), and I’ll email you the options I have!
