Parker | 6-Month Milestone Session

I love milestone sessions and getting to watch my little clients grow up. It was such a pleasure to meet little Parker and his family for his newborn session six months ago, and I’m so excited to share his 6-month milestone session with you! Capturing your baby’s first year is so special, and I have some unique ideas for props and backdrops that will make each session special. We can do so much during Milestone Sessions, including my lifestyle room, adding on family images, and changing outfits! Plus, Parker rocked one of the outfits from my curated client closet!

Our aim for Parker’s 6-month session was to capture photos that captured his personality and all of the new things he can do now that he’s a bit older. We got him sitting in different things, and sitting solo, plus showing how amazing he’s gotten at tummy time! He was smiling and laughing throughout the entire session, which made it even more special. We used props such as crates, greenery, and my lifestyle room to get him engaged in the photographs.

To top it all off, we used one of my favorite pieces from my curated client closet—a deep olive romper. He looked adorable in it! The color was perfect in the lifestyle room we chose —and it added an extra element of fun to the images. The lifestyle room is perfect for a more candid experience and we even used the little crib I have in there- it shows how big he’s gotten perfectly!

Capturing milestones like these is what makes me love photography so much! Seeing how much babies grow in just six months is incredible, and being able to document those changes through photography is an honor.
