Cloth diapers make a lot of sense. While disposable diapers are a bit of an environmental disaster, you can reuse cloth diapers again and again to avoid waste. Plus, the material is softer on babies’ skin, preventing common problems such as diaper rash. The only issue is that starting can be a total headache. When you have a baby, you’re already struggling with massive piles of laundry, and the last thing you want to add is another daily stack of soiled clothing. If you’ve been considering this option but are worried about the inconvenience, let me tell you about Wholesome Diaper Co., a Milwaukee Diaper Service committed to making cloth diapers easy for parents.
About A Milwaukee Diaper Service Called Wholesome Diaper Co.
Abigail Austin founded Wholesome Diaper Co. in 2019. Abigail is a mom who has always been passionate about cloth diapering. Early on, she saw how difficult it was for fellow parents to commit to this option. She decided to create a diaper service that made cloth diapering more accessible to families. In 2020, she moved with her family from Wisconsin to Northern Texas.
She decided to open a second location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and hand the Milwaukee business to David and Rachel Wilkinson. The company serves families within Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, Brookfield, Elm Grove, New Berlin, Greenfield, St. Francis, Cudahy, Hales Corners, Butler, and Shorewood. If you’re outside this area, you can contact the company and see if they can help you with a surcharge.
Products and Services
With Wholesome Diaper Co., you’ll begin by paying a start-up price and selecting a subscription. You’ll pay for weekly services and can select either prefold or fitted diapers. You can also select a package that mixes the two options. Once a week, you’ll set all your used diapers out on the front porch and have them exchanged for freshly laundered ones.
The diapers are washed in commercial machinery that uses 170+ degrees of water to wash and sanitize thoroughly. The cleaners do not use odors; the process is pH-balanced to keep even the most sensitive skin happy. The best part is that you don’t have to worry about spraying or soaking your used diapers. Just toss them in your diaper pail and get back to your life! The company will send you laundry bags made of vinyl that will help trap any unwanted smells.
Specialty
Wholesome Diapers Co. uses OsoCozy diapers made from 100% cotton. They understand that no one baby is built the same. You can speak with a representative about your baby’s unique needs, and they’ll pair you with the diaper that will work best for your little one.
The company makes it easy to give the gift of sustainability to the new parents in your life. They offer gift cards you can use toward a subscription. You can also purchase a cloth diaper cake to get new parents started.
